This is a fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the technical architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing administration of enterprise SAP systems and supporting database environments.
  • Provide hands-on SAP Basis administration, ensuring the performance, stability, security, and availability of SAP applications and infrastructure.
  • Design, maintain, and optimize SAP system landscapes across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Support the implementation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of SAP systems operating on Windows and Linux platforms with HANA, Sybase, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • Develop and manage system maintenance schedules, including patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and lifecycle management activities.
  • Apply SAP best practices for database backup, recovery, system restoration, and business continuity to ensure data integrity and operational resilience.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and validation to support system availability and business continuity requirements.
  • Troubleshoot complex SAP system and database issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Provide technical leadership in resolving infrastructure challenges, optimizing system performance, and addressing critical operational issues.
  • Evaluate technical requirements and provide guidance on system architecture, integrations, and third-party dependencies within the SAP environment.
  • Support SAP environments hosted on cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, customer support, professional services, and other cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and support successful project delivery.
  • Manage change control processes, identify technical risks and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful implementation of system changes.
  • Communicate project status, technical issues, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership.
  • Contribute to the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of technical standards, operational procedures, and SAP administration best practices.
  • Support the continued modernization, enhancement, and optimization of enterprise SAP infrastructure and database systems.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, with 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, including system installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of SAP architecture, system landscapes, operational requirements, and established SAP administration best practices.
  • Experience administering and supporting SAP systems running on Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience working with enterprise database platforms such as SAP HANA, Sybase, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience supporting SAP system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and ongoing production operations.
  • Strong understanding of database backup and recovery strategies, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Understanding of cloud computing models, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Experience working with highly technical teams to manage complex infrastructure initiatives, troubleshoot system issues, and implement technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently investigate complex technical challenges, identify root causes, and drive effective resolutions.
  • Experience supporting change management processes, risk assessments, and technical project coordination.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to changing requirements, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining a high standard of technical quality and accountability.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and hold only U.S. citizenship.

As with any dynamic technical environment, responsibilities will evolve based on customer and mission needs. We are looking for individuals who are adaptable, proactive, and eager to take ownership of new challenges as they arise.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
