Position Overview:

BridgePhase is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Solutions Engineer/Architect to support the delivery, management, and optimization of enterprise SAP cloud environments for large and strategic customers. This individual will serve as a trusted technical advisor, working directly with customer stakeholders and internal delivery teams to ensure the successful operation, security, and continued evolution of SAP landscapes within the SAP RISE environment.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in SAP Basis administration, cloud architecture, and technical consulting, along with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical solutions. This role requires a proactive problem solver who can manage customer relationships, coordinate technical resources, navigate complex SAP environments, and take ownership of technical service delivery from planning through resolution.

This position requires candidates to be U.S. citizens who hold no additional citizenship. This is a fully remote role with the potential for conversion to a permanent position after one year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, providing guidance and oversight on SAP cloud environments, technical service delivery, and landscape management.
  • Partner with Client Delivery Managers, account teams, and technical operations teams to coordinate service delivery activities, manage customer expectations, and ensure alignment with business and technical objectives.
  • Own technical discussions with customers, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions and coordinating subject matter experts across SAP delivery teams as needed.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of customer SAP landscapes, including system architecture, dependencies, integrations, and operational requirements.
  • Support the planning and execution of technical service delivery roadmaps, maintenance schedules, system enhancements, and lifecycle management activities.
  • Analyze customer technical challenges, identify potential risks, and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive issues through successful resolution.
  • Provide technical guidance on SAP architecture, business continuity, disaster recovery, security, compliance, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Evaluate customer security and network requirements to ensure alignment with SAP cloud architecture and established security frameworks.
  • Lead regular technical and operational reviews to assess system performance, evaluate progress against cloud architecture roadmaps, and develop resolution plans for identified issues.
  • Support SAP system migrations, conversions, and modernization initiatives in collaboration with customers, system integrators, and technical delivery partners.
  • Advise customers on SAP S/4HANA architecture, migration strategies, system conversions, and integration with enterprise applications and cloud services.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support integration scenarios involving SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Ariba, SuccessFactors, and other SAP solutions.
  • Present technical recommendations, architecture considerations, and service delivery strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication, technical leadership, and effective issue management.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, or a related technical field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience required.
  • 4+ years of customer-facing SAP technical consulting experience required.
  • 4+ years of experience in solution design, enterprise architecture, or SAP implementation.
  • 2+ years of technical project management experience supporting SAP operations or implementation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of SAP products, enterprise solutions, system architecture, platform dependencies, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting SAP applications and infrastructure within cloud-based environments, including SAP RISE or similar enterprise cloud offerings.
  • Understanding of SAP system migrations, architecture planning, landscape management, and operational service delivery.
  • Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong technical project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams, manage competing priorities, and drive technical initiatives through completion.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently assess technical challenges and coordinate effective solutions.
  • Experience managing customer relationships, facilitating technical discussions, and resolving escalated issues in complex enterprise environments.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and hold only U.S. citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP HANA and S/4HANA architecture, administration, migrations, or conversions.
  • SAP certifications in NetWeaver, OS/DB Migration, SAP HANA, or related technologies.
  • Experience or certifications with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles, cybersecurity, encryption, and key management.
  • Experience with SAP BRIM, Convergent Charging (CC), or Convergent Mediation (CM).
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP, Ariba, SuccessFactors, and enterprise SAP integration scenarios.

As with any dynamic technical environment, responsibilities will evolve based on customer and mission needs. We are looking for individuals who are adaptable, proactive, and eager to take ownership of new challenges as they arise.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
